Look! Up in the Sky!

There's a war coming. Everyone knows it but nobody seems worried, almost as if it's just a longer winter. The experts are saying it's happening in May. We will wake up to the sounds of sirens, grab the kid and run down to the shelter. Tel Aviv will be bombed by hundreds of missiles. from that point on it will be hard to predict what will happen, but I will do my best in the limits on this blog to provide an accurate description, projecting a possible future.

Meanwhile, consider getting a Limited Editions Print of the Realist from the new Etsy store. It might not be there for very long, but surly will last at least until May.

  2. I fear you may be right. Glenn Greenwald has been writing about the media's drumming up war support to attack Iran lately, just like they did a decade ago to get support to attack Iraq... It's frustrating and depressing.

  5. Russ, I disagree. No Americans have the stomach for war right now after the last 10 years and the military is drawing down. A Democratic president will definitely not go down that path. Plus, if the US did a preemptive strike it would put Israel at extreme risk for retaliation. It would be ludicrious to do so. If a war starts, it will be someone besides the U.S. dropping the first bombs.

  6. @Dominic: tougher sanctions ARE the road to war.
@Mer: americans also have not the stomach to demand from their government a real withdrawal from their numerous war fronts, and of course US bombs won't be the first, first will come the improvised rockets from impoverished iranians starving to death thanks to the thouger sanctions

  7. The plans of the U.S. has never been changed. Only delayed. In the meantime, the medias prepare the masses for the future events.
    Keep in there!

  8. Asaf, It is in the air indeed. This machine seems to be in motion and not much seems to be able to slow this down. On a human level, I wish you and your family safe passage through all of this. Thank you for the honesty of your work. It makes me feel...something. The best work always does.
